V roce 2023 vstupuje Studio ALTA do nové lokality, do nového sousedství Palmovky a Libně. S přesunem svých aktivit přesouváme i naši pozornost, od esence k povrchům. Mapujeme vlastní situovanost, jak a na koho působíme, a hledáme cesty k novým spojenectvím.

První představení letošního roku tak vytváříme ve spolupráci s galerií a artspacem SVĚTOVA 1. Skrze minicyklus událostí HOW WE ARE („Jak se máme“) sledujeme, co se děje na povrchu právě prožívané reality. Zajímá nás, kde se nacházíme, jak se nám daří, v jakých vztazích a přátelstvích působíme, s jakými emocemi přicházíme do sdíleného prostoru událostí, jaké jsou naše potřeby tady a teď… hledáme blízkost mezi uměním a širším prožíváním každodennosti na rozbouřených vlnách probíhajících krizí a změn.

Každý z večerů otevře „reality check-in“,.Formát setkání a povídání s příchozími a přizvanými hostkami a hosty následovaný tanečním představením.

By relocating our activities we’re also shifting our attention– from the depths of our reflections to the surfaces of who and how we are. We’re mapping our own situatedness, how and whom we impact, and we search for paths to new alliances.

This year’s first show is presented by Studio ALTA in collaboration with the gallery and art space SVĚTOVA 1. Through a mini-series of events entitled HOW WE ARE, we observe what’s happening on the surface of our reality. We want to know where we’re standing, how we’re doing, what relationships and friendships we’re involved in, what emotions we bring to the shared space of events, what are our needs here and now… we look for a close connection between art and the daily life as we experience it in the stormy waters of the ongoing crisis and changes.

Each evening will open with “a reality check-in,” a format featuring encounters and talks with invited guests followed up by a dance performance.
